Positive Reflection

Moment of reflection

Only each individual can change their life for the better. Everything comes from the mind reflects our outer world in what we see and how we feel. If you take time to reflect, all holy text warn us of negativity and controlling our minds. The outside world will only be negative and in disarray if we do not control what is inside our tiny little world. One cannot change the corruption, war, and hate but simply change oneself heart and mind. Take the positive reflections and share with others! Do not add more negative of things one truly has no control over! Be that tiny flower in the crack; smile, hug, laugh, jump, even run with joy! Imagine if there is one of you and another sees and shares that same positive joy and it multiplies! That's how the world changes. Do not look down on another if he does not believe as you or even agree with you but simply lift him/her up.

Dhammapada: “All that we are is the result of what we have thought: it is founded on our thoughts, it is made up of our thoughts. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him, as the wheel follows the foot of the ox that draws the carriage.

John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

"And do thou be patient, for thy patience is but from Allah. nor grieve over them: and distress not thyself because of their plots." [An-Nahl: The Bee: 127].

We have to uplift ourselves through our own efforts by purifying our mind. Purity of thought can enlighten us, while impure thoughts will only cause us to regress. We have the power to be our own friend or the folly to become our own enemy. ~ The Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 6, Verse 5.
