Transcending Paradox

Transcending Paradox "All things change, nothing is extinguished.... There is nothing in the whole world which is permanent. Everything flows onward; all things are brought into being with a changing nature; the ages themselves glide by in constant movement." —Ovid  At first thought, transcending duality is a very confusing concept. With some thought of this concept I began to search, read, contemplate the true meaning of the words. If we take each word by definition, they are easier to understand. Transcend means be or go beyond the range of limits (something abstract, typically a conceptual field or division. Duality means two aspects of something. This method of thinking has now become one of my favorite ways to ponder life. I feel it has taught me not to hold onto apparent absolutes thoughts. Once you believe in something as an absolute, you are automatically preventing yourself from believing in the opposite, which means that in some ways a part of your fr

Inner Child

INNER CHILD Moment of Reflection “When we are children we seldom think of the future. This innocence leaves us free to enjoy ourselves as few adults can. The day we fret about the future is the day we leave our childhood behind.” ― Patrick Rothfuss, The Name of the Wind You ever think of a child's view of life? Where is it we change our perspective of life? A child sees no color, religion, difference, they love unconditional, they do not hate. How as adults to we miss the beauty of living life like a childish soul? So today as I reflected on the Oneness of all from a child mind perspective. How can I love, live, thrive, think, share as a child? Only I complicate life living in past or future. Life should be taking moment by moment sharing the bliss and love of God in me as in everything that exist. The true beauty of life is the soul of a child never clinging to the need of receiving but giving freely love to all!

Oneness of Life

Today is I reflect on the oneness of life. The mountains, trees, animals, life in humans, the souls that exist, and that which we do not see. There can be so much love and bliss that is in life. If we just look at humanity and the first thing we see are smiles on the face.  I often wonder how is it we see others as different races and religions, when we all are the same? A s oul in the body that is doing it's very best to maintain in their reality. Some grow more and some remain in their lower egoic self but we are all the same. Life is meant to break all the walls, transcend limited religions, expand past what our parents taught us, and demolish all cultural ignorance. We are all one and the same on different levels of understanding. We are all one with the natural landscape, that which we do not see, and the amazing animals that give and share life as us.

Music of Nature

Image
Do you ever sit and listen to nature?  The frogs as they croak in the night. The insects as they are in unison. The chirp of the birds at a certain melody. Do you ever notice there is no man-made instruments to cover the beauty?  Do you ever just sit and listen and feel all that nature has to offer?  We have music for free just close your eyes put aside the crap from this world and be amazed.  We all want to be closer to our Creator but if you walk outside and look up and down you see. Do we not see we how everything in nature is connected?  Listen to the music of nature for the animals and creatures worry about nothing, they simply live.

Balance

Image
Life is not about dwelling in the dark pains of the physical life.  Life is balancing and staying in the middle. Seeking the light through the darkness.  Keeping focused on the positive things.  Though life can be hard we miss the lesson in each difficulty . Grow, expand, learn, live balanced.

Morning Affirmation

Image
An affirmation is a simple but powerful statement that helps to strengthen the connection between your unconscious mind and your conscious mind. The more you strengthen this connection the more resilient you will  be when difficult or challenging circumstances. As Buddha wisely said: you become what you believe.

Letting Go

Image
Moment of reflection... It is not the people or things in our lives that matter, for all materials come and go. It is the peace, faith, and strength within to not be attached to shine and share with the world!  It is said a great Buddha quote "the root of all suffering is attachment". What a great lesson in life! The only constant in life is connection with Our Creator, God, Source Energy, or whatever name you apply. It's the peace within that matters when all else dies.
